A little while ago we started writing short reviews of new blogs that caught our eyes. For various reasons this activity has fallen by the wayside, and I’ve been thinking it would be good to get this going again.
So, I’m after a few people that would like keep an eye the ‘new blogs’ RSS feed (yet to be created…) and write short reviews on blogs that catch your eye. You may choose to write about a blog for many reasons, including content, design, humor etc. etc.
You should look at writing at least one review every couple of weeks (with a view to the team publishing at least one review a week), you should be able to take screen shots of the web sites you write about (to specific dimensions), and you will ideally be familiar with WordPress (though this is easy peasy to pick up).
If you want to get involved, then please either leave a comment below (with a valid email address) or get in touch via the contact form (link above).

From the Art’s and entertainment section, an informative blog for writers or people with an interest in Scriptwriting, it is posted to regularly, and full of relavant information if you are in the Scriptwriting industry.
The authors style is friendly, there’s not a lot of personal stuff but it doesn’t feel cold, there are lots of useful links to other Screen Writing sites as well.

A surreal Blog from the “Humour” section, detailing the adventures of a boulder in Photographs, you have to see it to believe it.
He gets up to such things as, surfing the net, drinking alcohol, and getting sucked into vortex’s, an action packed life for a rock! The reviewer would like to know what the author was drinking when they thought of this…

A good blog from the “News and current affairs” section, the author has some interesting and thought provoking things to say about the subject.
There are good links to news and politics sites, the Blog is uncluttered and tidy looking, and the authors writing style pleasant and sometimes even informal. This makes the blog seem friendly as well as informative, instead of cold and factual like so many blogs on this subject are.

The first of our member blog reviews! An interesting Blog by a mother and Nurse in the NHS, she discuss’s both home life issues and the state of the NHS, punctuated by Meme’s. (Meme’s are quiz’s other people can take if they want and post thier results on thier own blogs.)
It’s interesting to read about such a hot political issue from the point of view of someone working within the industry itself. She writes fluently without obvious errors, the blog is regularly posted to well maintained and friendly, Anyone would enjoy this blog whether you are a nurse or not.

Welcome to the brand spanking new BritBlog blog reviews!
We’ve created this section to highlight blogs that we think are a good read, but that perhaps don’t get the attention they deserve. The reviews will be carried out by our editors, but feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions or if you would like to contribute a review yourself.
